O&M Manager 

Mohammad is O&M Manager acting EMD of the Abu Dhabi PV2 Energy Company (under construction), reporting to a board of directors composed by the Consortium TAQA, Masdar, EDF Renewables and Jinko Power.

 

 PV2 is the largest Solar Power Plant in the world, with 2 GW capacity; Long term PPA with EWEC; ~4 million solar panels to generate enough power for 160,000 UAE homes using advanced bifacial technology.

 

Between 2017 and 2020, Mohammad was the Construction Manager for the Sweihan PV Project Company which managed the construction of the 1177MWp solar PV project constructed in Sweihan, Abu Dhabi. The Sweihan PV Plant is currently the world’s largest solar power plant; the $870 million project was a joint international collaborative effort by Abu Dhabi Power Corporation, Japanese company Marubeni, and Chinese manufacturer JinkoSolar. 

 

Between 2008 and 2017, he was a Senior Project Manager and Construction Director for Enviromena Power Systems. Mohammad was involved in constructing the solar photovoltaic projects for the company across the Middle East and North Africa. Mohammad managed the construction of the first ever 10 MW solar PV project in the UAE in 2008. He has been involved in the power sector around the Middle East for over 14 years and is regarded to be a pioneer in constructing renewable energy projects in the region.

 

Mohammad holds a Bachelor degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
